Pirate Fiesta Upper East Side

The Pirate Fiesta toured the Upper West Side during Mott Hall II's International Day, making a Rolling Rollicking fun time for all.

Mott Hall II Benefit 2014

We raised money for the Mott Hall 2 PTA with Pirate Fiestas newest challenge, Hook-N-Treasure.
We have found many NYC children have never fished before, and the hand eye coordination
of managing the pole, the length of the fishing line, and the movement of the hook
was challenging and rewarding for the kids.

Pirate Ship Detailing

Sample Pirate Ships

This is a pic of Queen Anne's Revenge from On Stranger Tides.  I think they really captured the essence of a scary ghost ship here.  The detailing is incredible.

A closer view.  See also closeups under this blogs entry, 'Pirate Ship Detailing'.

I think this is my favorite sample of  a ship out of all posted here, even though it's fake and in a mall.  I like the shape and colors and it has a sexy feel.  Victorian era detailing graces the ship without being gaudy.  The colors are maroon, burnt sienna and dark green ochre.
This is an authentic reproduction of the Santa Maria and I think a good example of how to run the rigging.  There isn't much room on the deck for the 70 men that sailed her.
Another reproduction of an early sailing ship that came to America.
A fantasy pirate ship made for an amusement park.
 Simple design and model.
This is an Asian pirate ship that really goes overboard with the gold gilded detailing and the purple is off the hook.
